Harry Wilhelmij, PhD Geology, BSc Hons Geology, BSc Chemistry

Geologist with 35 years’ experience in technical, commercial, corporate and project management in Australia, Africa, Canada, Scandinavia and Indonesia.  Specializes in the development of orogenic gold and magmatic nickel-copper- platinum deposits.  Worked for Falconbridge, African Selection Trust, Elf Aquitaine, Great Central Mines, Delta Gold, Zimplats, Goldfields, Outokumpu, Goldstream Mining, Lonmin and Chalice Gold Mines.

 

Ian Stalker, Chemical Engineer

Ian has five decades of experience as a senior mining executive, with considerable experience in precious metals. He has managed a number of mineral projects through to production, including K92 Mining which he took from a $2m acquisition to becoming a major gold producer.  He was CEO at a number of companies including K92 Mining, UraMin Inc and LSC Lithium. Ian has significant in-country experience in Tanzania having overseen the development of the Geita Gold Mine, and more recently as Chairman of London listed  Helium One Global, who are currently engaged in exploration drilling in Tanzania. He is chairman of Bradda Head and he is also Lead Director of K92 Mining and CEO of Pasofino Gold.

Neil Herbert, Fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants

Neil began his career with Price Waterhouse, joined Antofagasta plc during its 1990s transformation into a leading copper producer. After Antofagasta he was CFO of gold explorer Brancote Holdings plc until its 2002 acquisition for $0.4bn. Neil became Finance Director of value focused investor Galahad Gold plc where he managed its most successful venture, uranium explorer UraMin Inc where he was also Finance Director until its 2007 acquisition for $2.5bn. Until 2013 he was Managing Director of natural resources investor group Polo Resources Ltd with $185m in special dividends paid during his tenure. He is currently Chairman of African lithium explorers IronRidge Resources Ltd and Premier African Minerals Ltd. More recently, Neil was executive Chairman of Tanzania-based Helium One Global and took the company from an early stage private enterprise to pre-IPO.

Ian Daymond BA LL.B

A solicitor with more than 41 years experience as a mining and resources lawyer. Former General Counsel & Company Secretary of Delta Gold Ltd for 11 years and saw the company grow to be one of the largest gold producers in Australia. Extensive board experience as a director of International Base Metals Ltd with substantial copper interests in Namibia, former chairman of ElDore Mining Corporation Ltd (ASX: EDM), ActivEx Ltd (ASX: AIV), Copper Range Ltd (ASX:CRJ) and a former Non-Executive Director of Hill End Gold Ltd.
